I just found a passage that I scribbled out of a book ages ago. So long ago that I don't remember the book, but it's about the Virgin Mary. An entity that I've always been intrigued with. "In Christianity, the Virgin Mary, whose cult derives from pagan goddess cults, is also Mater Dolorosa, 'the grieving mother,' weeping over her dead child."
I have dreams about having the Virgin Mary tattooed on my arm, but with my mother's face. One day, I'll read more about Mater Dolorosa. One day, my mother and I will understand each other.
